0,33l bottle at home bought at Saveur Biere; shared with Saeglopur at his place. BB 07/2017. almost black color, small off-white head. smells of toasted malts, molasses, breadish, dried plums, nutty, marzipan, light exotic fruits, bit milky. nice and unique smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of dried plums, some licorice, earthy notes, nutty, marzipan, lightly roasty, dark bread, light exotic fruits, light coffee, light caramel. finishes lightly roasty and with notes of dried plums, nuts and marzipan. quite nice one, expected a bit more hops (because of the self-proclaimed "indian dunkel"), but rather enjoyable beer. On a side note, with 8.2% and with the richness of the brew it should be most likely be categorized as a Doppelbock instead of Dunkler Bock, but anyway :P

Bottle. Basically this beer is CDA. Lots of bitterness, colour is brown, I do not get any large amount of roastiness. Mostly hops centered with loads of resiny zesty citrusy hops flavours, complemented with moderate caramelly malt. Good one, drinks well. Easy attenuated.

dark amber to mahogany colour, medium sized beige-ish-yellowish off-white head; aroma of pine resins, peach, grapefruity-, floral-, herbal and roasted notes; taste is the same with significant roastedness, herbal-medicinal notes and bitterness; this is the beer, what I would be able to drink anywhere, anytime!

33cl bottle I brought back from Barcelona and the European Summer Gathering. Poured (twice) into an old Veltins Pilsner tulip at home during a ’random tasting evening’ with myself. Pours a misty, dull orange, on top an uneven, white head. Fruity hops lead the way in both the aroma and taste, with a good bitter bite in the flavour: no citrus notes! Big Bonus Point for that. This is a live tasting and I have only just realised it is 8.2% ABV, wondered why I was getting a buzz from it. Bugger, first beer of the evening.

Bottle picked up from Beers and More in Zurich, consumed at Fischers Fritz Camping, Kirchner n. Zurich, Switzerland, Saturday 25th June 2016. Pours dark chestnut brown with a slight murk. It’s a hoppy little number with some dark candi sugar flavours also. A little vein of grapefruit tempered with some bitter cocoa, lovely beer that gets better. A7 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
