Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 18A, adapted). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 29/2016. AROMA: medium sulphur and yeast aroma, with a low citric and slight sweet background. APPEARANCE: light yellow color and clear. medium-low white head with low retention. TASTE: medium-low notes of wheat malt, yeast and faint citric notes. medium-low bitterness with a malt balance. finishes semi-sweet with a wheat and honey-like impression. PALATE: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: altough there is some yeast aroma, flavor and by-products, it can be a decent blond.

Black color, beige head with medium lasting. Aroma has light notes of roasted malts, slighty coffee. Flavor is light bittery..., and light coffee... and light black chocolate... and light roasty... Light body, roasty final.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy amber with a dense and creamy yellowish, beige head. Dusty, oxidized hop aroma, smelly feet. Rich, malty body, caramel and toffee with a little citrusy notes blending in from the hops. Some late, finishing bitternes. Clearly in the need of fresh quality hops - as most Spanish IPA’s unfortunately. 190116

Bottle 33 cl. Clear golden with a white head. Sweet, malty head. Medium body, very toffeeish - something in here appears extremely oxidized or even rotten. A moldy touch as well. Hardly any hops. BB 01/16 so this is clearly on the edge of its prime. 190116

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden - bordering amber - with an off-white head. Very strange bonbon-like aroma, fruit chewing gum. Medium body, very dry caramel notes, somewhat fruity but also some odd phenollic off-flavours. Ends quite bitter. A strange brew indeed, not a Brown ale, nor an Amber really. 140116

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark brown with a warm reddish hue and a beige head. Sweet, figgy nose, subtle roast. Medium body, very soft on the palate, licorice and dark, dried fruits rather than roast. To the sweet side with hardly any bitterness. Very pleasant and smooth Porter. 060116

Pours sheer black with short-lived tan head. Aroma is liquorice and coffee, coffee and liquorice. Maybe a hint of dark chocolate? -Maybe, but mostly coffee and liquorice, liquorice and coffee. Round, dense and full-bodied. Begins quite sweet, which hides the final bitterness (must be in the high IBUs, though it’s quite difficult to say). Nice porter, all in all.
