Description
Craft beer is a passion, an obsession and a journey. This journey has opened our eyes (and taste buds) to some of the finest examples of beer this planet has to offer. Our tastes and expectations have forever changed, and so have our methods of enjoyment. From beer trades, to home brewing, to attending release parties and festivals one thing became clear… We rarely drink the same beer over and over again, and we love to share.

Nice crisp lager, with enough character to make it different from the regular. Something that tastes like nobel hops, and some attic dust, light lemon zest. Pours clear golden with decent head. Snappy finish. Tap at Ocelot.

Big nectarine and unripe peach. Some pine, grapefruit. Great hops aroma here. Hazy golden pour with pretty good head and lacing. Bitter end. Great body, tastes less hazy than it looks. Tap at brewery.

32 oz crowler filled on draft from Dominion Wine & Beer. Mostly clear dark amber brown. No head other than the slightest hint of off-white ring. Aroma has bourbon, oak, dried fruit, almost a little red wine-like note. Taste has caramel, brown sugar, bourbon, a little raisin and dried fruit. Medium to full body. Nice rich barrel aged wheatwine.

16oz can pours a burnt gold with some haze over it. Legs and soapy head. Nose has straw and big citrus rind, heavy herbs and some soap. A bit overdone, or maybe this can aged out crazy fast. Lemony, limey, tannic though, papery, over steeped tea. Full, astringent finish. Meh.

Can at Lost Dog Arlington. Poured a slightly hazy orange color with a small white head. Aroma was light tropical fruits, pineapple, peaches, some light berry. Floral hop, light bitterness. Flavor was really pleasant, juicy citrus, light bitterness. Alcohol is slightly present on the nose and in the body. Light grapefruit bitter finish.

13oz can pours a leggy, translucent brown with a ring of white head. All gets better from here. Nose has all the things, malt, barrel, caramel, raisin, vanilla, dates. Its big, but it's so damn smooth. Caramel, raisin, apple chips, butterscotch, malt, dates, figs in the mouth. Full, sweet but not hot and dangerously easy to drink.
