Description
Craft beer is a passion, an obsession and a journey. This journey has opened our eyes (and taste buds) to some of the finest examples of beer this planet has to offer. Our tastes and expectations have forever changed, and so have our methods of enjoyment. From beer trades, to home brewing, to attending release parties and festivals one thing became clear… We rarely drink the same beer over and over again, and we love to share.

Nice saison, and very drinkable. Pours golden with ok head and lacing. Easy drinking, some hay and citrus. Had a taste of this at the Whole Foods in Courthouse.

4 oz pour on draft at Ocelot. Slightly hazy orange with off-white head. Aromas of floral, hay, citrus. Tastes of orange and grapefruit citrus, floral notes, a little malt. Medium body with a dry finish. Nice stuff, Motueka gives it a pretty distinct aroma/flavor.

32oz growler from Dominion Wine pours a hazy gold with some lacing, white head. Nose is a little muddled for them, it has some lemon and lemon curd, muddled tropical fruit, a little sorbet, some guava. Flavor is similarly muddled, more pith and soap here, some yeast, chewed bubblegum, unbaked/doughy biscuit. Finishes bitter and a touch creamy. Drinkable but also all over the place.

On tap at Meridian Pint’s 6th Anniversary party pours a clear gold with some frothy, white head. Nose is excellent, lemon, soap, light pine, grass, mild herbs, straw. Flavor is a reminder of what IPAs can be, light lemon and lemon curd, straw, grass, light dried herbs, some soap, a little grapefruit, light malt. Finishes crisp and dry. Scary drinkable at 7.3% and a remind that not every IPA needs to be a cloudy, tropical fruit milkshake.

5oz draft pour at the 2016 YOX anniversary party at Old Ox. Poured a very pink-ruby purple-red color with a small off-white head. Aroma was tart fruit, currant. Flavor had acidic notes, sweet berries. Tasty, tart fruits.

Tap into a snifter showing well filtered neon yellow with half a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows moderate notes of dry pineapple and hefty cannabis. The palate shows a perfect mousse for carbonation and light bodied. Moderately intense flavors of dry pineapple with notes of cannabis. Robust bready backbone with very light bitterness on the finish.
