Salué dès ses débuts par le regretté Michaël Jackson (auteur d’ouvrages de référence sur le whisky et la bière), Grégory Verhelst poursuit depuis 2000 sa quête du goût, sa vision de LA bière. En pionnier et à contre-courant. La brasserie de Rulles produit actuellement environ 4.000 hectolitres par an, avec un processus de fermentation en cuves ouvertes, montrant le spectacle de la levure et lui permettant d’exprimer toute sa magie..

Bxlbeerfest. Pours yellow. Aroma is sweet, grainy, bit cardboardy. Flavor is sweet and bitter, grsins, cardboad, malt, bit soapy. Overall: ok.

4 3 4 3 8 Draft at BXL Beer Fest, Brussels ’17. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of grain, light malt and light hops. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with light carbonation.

Tap at BXL festival. Almost clear golden with white head. Dry pils malts, grain husks, soft grassy hops. Basically pils notes in a good way. Just medium sweet and bitter with medium crisp body and slight dry finish.

@ BXL Beer Fest. Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Straw, grass, bitter hops, some tropical fruitiness. Very well balanced and easy drinkable pilsener.

Tap at Delirium Sendai. Pale gold with lace. Dry citrus nose, spicy, interesting. Very dry flavor, just a bit of bread and honey, bitter finish. Good, not really sure if the hops are special though.

Unclear golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Looks nice. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and an average carbonation level. Semi dry ending. Malty, herbal, mild citric, mild yeast and some fruity notes in the flavor. Plain easy drinkable beer.
