bottle, pours black with a thin off white to light tan head. Aroma is light oak has a nice earthyness and a roasted malt character that rides along side the cocoa nibs. Nice roasted maltbackbone ends with a light coffee and raoted malt bitter finish. Mouth is full of lively carbonation and a lingering finish. Not bad.

Thistle and pineapple aroma, moderate strength. Clear amber, thick white head, some lacing. Malted wheat and bready with a weak lemon peel finish. Quite enjoyable, but not nearly as hoppy as you are led to believe. Rock solid IPA.

Bottled ay Monkโ€™s Cafรฉ Wallingatan, Stockholm. Clear deep golden, small airy head. Strong citric nose. The malt sweetness is hidden by citric hops. Medium bodied with slick, oily mouthfeel. Citric, lightly piney bitterness that is stronger than the aroma. Lacks a bit of malt backbone.

Draught at Murphyโ€™s Law. Floral, citrus hops-really fragrant with lots of citrus and rich caramel. Good, bold malt with chocolate and caramel--malt profile almost like a brown ale, but hopped like a pa. Very interesting hop-malt balance. I like it.

Bottle Pours out a dark amber topped with a sand head. Aroma is of floral hops, nuts, and a sweet malt. Taste more of the nuts a nice floral hop and a good light grapefruit peel bitter end. not bad but for your 30th Anniversary you would think maybe something over the top.
