A big, light tan head with solid lacing on a dense, unfiltered orange/brown body. Taste profile starts with a nice boozy warmth with rich toffee, roasted malt and dark berries. Candied fruit and fresh hops boost and add to the flavour. The body is dense and rich. A slight syrupiness is well balanced by solid effervescence. A hint of sourness? My kind of barley wine.

Deep cola brown with a bubbly beige head. Aroma is whiskey, dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee. Initial taste is coffee, roast, chocolate, whiskey. Fades to roast, char, oak. Carbonation is excessive. Body is a bit thin. Not bad but not one I'll revisit.

2015 Bomber shared with Johnny. Hazy reddish color, full sized quite long lasting white to off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, caramel, hops, sticky a bit piney caramel. Nice caramel sticky hop bitter finish. Carbonation is low, body is full. Damn nice!
