Can, this version is 7.7% ABV. Dark brown w a fat coat of tan head soon at the rim. Somewhat roasty aroma but peanuts and raspberry are pretty prominent. Not all that sweet (but I did start at 10C out of caution) with chocolate, peanuts and raspberry but effectively shaped by roast and pretty firm bitterness. Often (for me) even real peanuts taste artificial in beer but this works well. Not totally my sort of thing but good.

Can. Misted amber with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, kumquat, light biscuit, pine. Clean, some peach and biscuit but dryish with coiled citrus, some pine and a fairly bitter finish. Not a big compromise really, but that's fine by me.

2023 version. Can. Black. A tan head is soon at the rim. Aroma of caramel, roast, vanilla, green nuts, Bourbon. Upon a sip, the Bourbon is up the front. Oily. Sweet with Bourbon and caramel over roast, then wood and quite firm bitterness with some spices including vanilla. A breath of alcohol at the end.

Aromas of chocolate, peanut butter, milk, biscuit and a hint of citrus. Silky mouthfeel with just a touch too much lemon citrus affecting the aftertaste. Can from Swords at Vic Market.

From a 440ml can on 23/2/2023. Pours a deep brown with little in the way of head. Has a pleasant choc, raspberry and peanut butter nose. Tastes quite sweet up front with choc, raspberry and a little peanut butter featuring, along with a good dash of coconut, though not so much vanilla. Has a moderate lingering bitterness, with just a hint of red wine. The mouthfeel is slick with softish carbonation. A really well done dessert treat.

(Tap) Clear pale gold with good white head. Nice tangy fruity aroma. Medium body with plenty of fine carbonation giving a great mouthfeel. Excellent taste. Subtle caramel biscuity malt with some lovely tangy overlaid at the start, being replaced with some good peppery bitter at the end. Very enjoyable.
