Can. Very black with a 3/2cm brown head. Heavy roasted aroma with blackberries, mocha, singed toffee. Getting towards full bodied, smooth with moderate carbonation. Roasty and bitter with just enough sweetness to keep it from seeming harsh, berries and a hint of smoke have enough space to register. Assertive. Really good.

Can. Very dark brown, a near cm of light tan head. Shyish roasty aroma with mocha, hints of citrus. More forthright upon a sip - although Hope often seem a little spendy on the alcohol, so you'd hope so - with firm roast, some what earthy coffee, weeds, citrus. Firm bitterness makes it very drinkable.

(Can) Pours slightly hazy amber with small cream coloured dense head. Intense aroma - primarily dank with notes of stone and tropical fruits, and hints of caramel. Great mouthfeel. Full bodied, smooth and slightly sticky with fine bright carbonation. Taste is also intense and a fair bit going on. There’s a backbone of toffee sweetness. At the start there is some brief fruity tang. Dank hops cut in quickly and continue through the palate. The alcohol picks up mid palate and gives a distinct spirit like burn towards the end of the palate. There’s a mildly bitter, dank and alcohol burn long finish. Wow! What a beer. Not for the faint hearted. It all fits together weirdly well. Really enjoying it, and expect it may take a while to finish. Will be interesting to see how the flavours evolve as it warms up.

(Can) Pours hazy golden with big loose white head. Pleasant aroma of oranges. Medium bodied, smooth with plenty of fine carbonation. Good taste. Plenty of orange, from a tangy citrus start, through a very distinct orange mid palate and finish. There’s a little sweetness in the mid palate. And the slightest bitterness in the finish. Unusual, enjoyable and very drinkable.

There’s a base of caramel malt giving some sweet hints in the mid palate. There’s a big citrus start with bitter orange and some tropical fruit. (Can) Pours hazy golden with good white head. Pleasant rather subtle fruity aroma - stone fruit and tropical fruit. Medium bodied and well carbonated. Taste is a great balance of fruitiness and bitterness. Nice citrus and tropical tastes up front rapidly give way to an assertive herbal hoppy bitterness. Very good.
