Can. Murky orangish amber with a good inch of white head. Aroma of oranges, grass, apricot, bread - plainish but nice enough. Punchier hops upon a taste - grapefruit as well as oranges, some grassy/ herbal hop burn as well as firmish bitterness. Like the definiteness of the finish. Pretty good.

Pours almost clear amber, large fading head.Nose shows melon, pineapple, apricot, spicy hops, a bit of citrus, tropical fruit confectionery, clean malt, a hint of coconut.Flavours include syrupy malt, resinous hops, more coconut, a decent whack of booze, piny hops, and a decent bitterness that doesn't quite win out amongst the malt.

Can. Almost clear amber with an inch of white head. Floaty fruity aroma with tropical lollies, mandarin, peach, honeydew melon.7+ Just medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Initial toppy fruity notes give way to a mix of sticky bun, mango skin and Asian pineapple before it dries out a little with pine and moderate bitterness. Good - more depth than punch but that's fine.

Can. Purply brown. Jammy nose. Very sweet. The flavours are right but choc tops are decidedly artificial in their sweetness, and so is this.

Cute cartoon barrel can, just right an aggressive ape with a hostage princess. He'd dig the banana which is very prominent. Nice twist on the brown ale.

10 years and 3 days since I rated the normal version. Gulp. I like that 2 Brothers have an identity and continuity to what they do. Can. Deep clear reddish brown with a fat cap of beige head that lasts indefinitely. Aroma of bread, chocolate, mild spices, a little touch of orange peel. And that's pretty much how it tastes. Smooth and medium bodied with lush malt before spices, citrus and bitterness come through a bit more than expected. Not a lot of depth or grunt for 8% but it's kind of a meditative and agreeably balanced drop.

Can. Dark brown. Wow, it's been a while since I drank the non-Imperial version, but this hides all upping of ABV perfectly. A classic brown.
