Bottle, 6% ABV. Black with a scant tan head. 3- Aroma of dark, almost medicinal honey. Some roast, gingerbread, apples. Sweet dark honey cake with a real sourness that doesn't quite overwhelm but doesn't belong. Not right but not undrinkable.

Can. Black with a fat coat of tan head. Aroma of creamy chocolate fudge, roasted malt, grass. Full rich silky body with lowish carbonation. Enough roast and grassy bitterness to stop the rich mocha cream from getting cloying but not so much to take attention from it. Good.

Schooner on tap at Hobart airport. Bronze amber beer with thin white head. Light carbonation. Very faint lemon nose. Earthy hop bitterness at first then some floral perfume notes. Finish is a little lemon then lingering hop bitterness. Pretty average APA. Not as good as their lager.

Schooner on tap at Hobart airport. Clear amber beer with thin creamy white head. Constant stream of fine bubbles. Nose is grainy and sweet. Laces well. Easy drinking, honey notes, malty. Finish is more malt balanced by grainy notes. Really good beer. Exceptional lager.

Bottle. Gold with a white head. Pleasant but distinctly funky aroma of grain, honey, cider vinegar, old lemons. A little sour with apple, herbal and honey notes. In date. Didn’t hate it but clearly way off what they were going for.
