Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a small head. Mild hoppy aroma. Starts mild, malty, some herbal notes, spicy notes as well. Grasy hints, a bit moldy. Finish more balanced. Quite drinkable. Not bad.

500ml can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden pour, white foamy head. Musty, grainy aroma, sweet. Taste is malty, sweet with some light vegetal notes. Just a bit off, but it might be because it's the US version

Tucher Rotes, Flasche von Getränke Ultsch, Weismain. - Dunkles Braunrot, hefetrüb. - In der Nase die sortentypische Mischung von Waldfrüchten und Toast, abgerundet mit Bitterschokolade und zitrusfruchtiger Hopfung. - Antrunk weich und füllig toastmalzig mit Nuß, Toastbrot, leise schokoladigen Zügen und solider orangenschalenbitterer und hopfenwürziger Herbe. Feine, leicht karamellige Malzsüße. Milder rezent, fast sämig vollmundig. Im Abgang gar nicht so knappe Hopfung, die angesichts der satten Malzigkeit aber naturgemäß etwas zurücktritt. - Sehr solides naturtrübes Rotbier mit unerwartet fülligem Malzkörper und guter Hopfung - hier muß ich Tucher wirklich einmal loben. I had a 50 cl pour at a pleasant cafe patio in Nuremberg with a new friend met on the trip through the Czech Republic and Germany. A cloudy, lighter orange body with little head presenting itself, just a thin ring of white foam. The taste is not unusual for the style. Orange rind, grain and a bit of coriander. Decent beer to have at a nice time.
