Sampled @ ZBF 2016 (Thank you for sharing BE RB CREW!) Dark brown amber, tanned head. Nose is huge pine resin, grapefruit, this smells really like a DIPA, wonderful, very low dark fruits, dash malt. Wonderful. Taste is dark pine, resin, grapefruit hops at first, real DIPA style, low complementary cacao, malt, light touch of dark fruits. Creamy & hoppy body. This is wonderful, surprised how well this works, beautiful hybrid beer of ideas & brewing cultures. More DIPA than Quadrupel, Quad compliments it very nicely.

Trübes dunkel orange braunes Bier mit geringen leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach roten Früchten, Karamell, leicht alkoholisch. Geschmack sehr hopfig, grasig bitter, rotes Malz, Karamell, super.

Sampled @ ZBF 2016 as “Paternoster Aperitief Framboos”. (Thank you for sharing RB people!) Very hazy amber, little off-white head. Smell is a spoiled chemical affair, herbal, soap. Fizzy body & taste, soap, chemical, spoiled, heavy artificial. I suppose that this is mean to represent raspberry, very unpleasant for me, wouldn’t want this as an aperitif. Going by the ratings, others seem to be okay with this.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small tan head. Aroma is cherry fruity and toasted malt. Slight citric and smooth fruity. Lingering fruity and mild citric mixed malty finish.
