Description
Ronald started working as a brewer in 1990, at brewery De Raaf. Few years later he lefts the Netherlands for Finland. He stayed in the beer business in various roles, and after a short break, he returned in 2015 to start The Flying Dutchman Nomad Brewing Company, to brew his own recipes at de Proefbrouwerij and Brouwerij Anders. He brews out of love for beer, and only works with the best and most passionate people. That’s why his beers are exceptional – full of character and flavour.

Black with creamy head. Aroma and flavour have predominantly grassy, alpha hop notes. Also plenty of roasted dark malt. Very full flavoured.

15 February 2022. At Huzaar (Quiz), Ghent. Cheers, Maarten & Eddy!
Clear yellow, thin, foamy, white head. Aroma of mandarin, green banana, moist pepper, wheat, soap, unripe pear. Taste has sweetish pear & apple, sourish citrus flesh, wheaty malt and a soapy note. Grassy hoppy finish, spices along unripe yellow fruit. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Decent but not remarkable.

Quite nice. I'd buy anything with a Funkadelic reference.

Smell-weak to medium, roast, malt, burned caramel, coffee remains. Foam-thin to medium, roast, acidic notes, bitterness and even more roast. Head is large, dark brown color.Sticks. Appearance- generic red bottle cap, somewhat like the label. Very dark brown color, but basically black, with few carbonation bubbles. From - stout glass Price- 4.49 euros for 0.330 ml Taste- roasty, then malt and more roast and bitter tones. The aftertaste is even more toastiness and bitter tones. Maybe hints of dark bitter chocolate. Too roasty/dark chocolate for me.
