Description
DŪMŲ BREWERY was born out of a simple but powerful idea: to create beers that not only satisfy but also surprise. Founded in 2015 in the village of Sakiškės, the microbrewery started as a home brewery and is now well-known both in Lithuania and abroad.

Our goal is to constantly offer something new, expressive and unusual. Each of our beers is unfiltered and unpasteurised, and our modern production processes allow us to preserve all natural flavours, aromas and colours. We are convinced that true beer lovers value tradition as well as experimentation, which is why our brewery is constantly developing new styles of beer.

Bottle @ my place. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich smoke, ashes, caramel, wood and hops.

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Almost black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and heavy smoked meat. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish. 090116

Small white head doesn’t last. Hazy pale yellow body with light carbonation. Can’t really pick up any aroma. Dry spicy fruity mealy taste with oily notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish fruity mealy aftertaste with herbal notes. Decent non-deScript saison. (0.33l bottle, at Genys Pub, Kaunas.)

Medium coarseish offwhite head. Hazy opaque pale yellow body with light carbonation. Mealy herbal coriander aroma with fruity notes. Dryish mealy fruity coriander taste with ginger notes. Mid-bodied. Fizzy mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy fruity aftertaste with papery notes. It’s pretty good, but needs work. (0.33l bottle at Genys Pub, Kaunas.)

0,33L bottle (from Drink Shop, Tallinn). Pours pale yellow with huge white head. Aroma is sweet, spices, a lot of corainder, wheat, banana, some vegetables. Flavor is sweet, vegetables, some tart notes, spices, wheat. Carbonation is high. Overall: ok, too bad about the vegetable notes, otherwise this would get a lot higher rating.
