Description
“Sakiškių alus” was born in 2015 in the small village of Sakiškės, near Vilnius. 2020 in late autumn, in the middle of quarantine, after renovation works, we moved to new spacious premises in Smoke factory, located in Vilnius, Dūmų street 5. The new place is so spacious that it contains not only bigger brewery, but also tasting bar with 24 taps and a venue for cultural activities and various events, accommodating up to 1000 participants.
After moving to the premises of the former scythe factory, we change our logo. In the new logo, you will find the contours of the place where we are located, fermenters that reflect our activities and the waves of the river, and maybe beer, flowing in both Sakiškės and Naujoji Vilnia. From now on, “Sakiškių alus” will be called “Sakiškės brewery”, as most of our products travel to foreign countries, and the number of foreigners in Lithuania is constantly increasing. While hops are certainly what our products are about, at the same time, we are a brewery that nurtures the culture of modern brewing.

Poured hazy and deep orange in color.
Slightly chalky feel, otherwise a quite typical Neipa with tropical fruits, juicy hops and touch of bitterness.

Sampled at Craft Beer Helsinki, 2026/03.
Poured golden in color, thin head.
Some barrel notes?, tequila for sure. Sweet brew, some malts in the back. Tequila bit too heavy upfront here.

CBHWS26. Slightly hazy golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is honey, some sweet grains and mild floral tones to it. Flavour is sweet grains, mild floral tones as well as some honey to it. Sadly smoke is a bit too mild in this one. But some smoke would indeed fit nicely into this one. Also had at Putoooja25, but beer felt fresher on CBHWS.

(Bottle) Reddish brown colour with big, creamy, beige head. Malty, slightly spicy nose with rye bread, tobacco, herbs, a touch of mint, chocolate, orange peel, autumn leaves and coffee. Malty taste with notes of rye bread, herbs, chocolate, tobacco, orange peel, treacle toffee, caramel and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced, with a generous rye presence. Quite nice.

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a tiny, beige head. Distinct spruce aroma atop some fatty, caramelly and boozy notes. Super rich and sweet with mousy spruce notes, massive caramel and a very boozy finish. Close to flat. A fun beer. 030226
