33 cl. bottle @ Café de Engel, Wijk bij Duurstede. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Malty aroma with some hops. Sweet taste with some hopbitterness in the end. Nice enough beer.

Sample from tap @ Utrechts Brouwers Fesitval 2016, with Zlotta, Caesar, Benzai & ShivanDragon. Deep amber to red color, cloudy. Dense, rocky off white head with lacing. Aroma’s: a bit herbal, caramel. More grainish and fruity retronasal. Flavor is light sweet, grainish. Medium bodied. Pretty decent actually.

Sampled @ UBF 2016. Hazy dark orange to reddish colored, medium sized beige head that lasts for a decent while and leaves fair lacing. Smell and taste malts, lightly sweet, lightly a fruity hint, a soft fruitpeel touch, soft bitter hint in the finish. Decent body and carbonation. Not bad.

@UBF 2016, met #Zlotta, #Benzai, #Caesar en #PotjeBier van tap donker amber met gelig/witte kraag. aroma van carmel, citrus, kruidig, saison+grassigheid, redelijk aan de kruidige kant. smaken zijn zacht/glad, matig zoet, redelijk gras kruidig, caramel, biscuit, sinaasappelschil, matige body, normale co2. gaat.

Sampled from tap at Brouwersfestival Utrecht 2016. Hazy, dark reddish amber with a tan head. Sweetish, spicy aroma of caramel, honey, juniper, clove and licorice root. Sweetish, spicy taste of caramel, honey, clove, juniper and licorice root, followed by a short, slightly bitter, spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay, but too spicy for me.

Bottle from local cheese shop, BB Okt 2016, large sample. Almost clear copper color, short soapy head. Aroma of caramel, butterscotch, slight bread, autumn spices. Spicy in taste, bit sharp, quute malty, caramel sweetness, butterscotch. Bit dry in the finish of spices. Not bad, but not really my taste.

Bottle @ Don’t want anything to do with carnaval tasting. CLear yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly grassy, lightly herbal and slightly spicy hops, softly bitter perhaps with a touch of fruitpeel. Average body and carbonation. Drinkable.
