Part of a sampler at the taproom totaling 7 on a random drive by driving from SF to SD. A great stop, especially when combined with the awesome Mexican food two doors down. Overt cedar and pine. Fresh bud. Orange-gold, hazy with above average white head. Too dank and one dimensional for me.

This was the best of the taster. Beautiful deep gold with full white head. Hazy. Taste is massive tropics, with moderate dankness.

Sample at the taproom. This beer is a ruddy amber color with a medium bone white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Fruit, hops and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, fruit, and earthy hops. The finish is malty up front with a hoppy aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the taproom. Dark brown color with a medium tan head that dissipates gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Roast malt, coffee and dark chocolate aroma. Light to medium body with a roasty malt and coffee character, with some bittersweet chocolate in the background. The finish is burnt malt and coffee. Decent overall.

Sample at the taproom. Dark brown-black color with a thick creamy beige head that recedes gradually to a film. Patches of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt, coffee and chocolate aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of charred malt, coffee and milk chocolate. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
