Draft sampler at the 2023 Rocky Water Brew Fest. Pitch black color with a thick beige head and great retention. Nice chocolate and marshmallow aroma. The taste follows the nose. Sweet porter flavor with a little chocolate and marshmallow mixed in. Not very roasted. Not too sweet either. I like the overall flavor profile.

Dark brown, thin head. Rich, tobaccoey, smooth, well-integrated whiskey. Full body and reasonably complex sugars. This reminds me of some of the Backcountry impies, very solid.

Pale and slightly dull. Thin head. Slightly grainy, lowish bitterness, mellow esters. Ok golden ale, with moderately kolsch-like qualities, if a little gloppy.

Amber with chill haze. Lots of piney, citrusy bitterness. The malts are meh, but the hops come across well in the classic west coast style.

Pale, slightly dull colour. Thick head. Fruity hops, malts are underattenuated, but ok if doughy is okay for you.

Dark amber, thin head. Quite tart, mild wheat notes, touch of dark malt. Especially like a toasted noted, but the tartness is too high and distracting.

Dark brown. Lapsang stout with blueberries and huajiao. No head. That huajiao is right up front, on the palate it's got a really cool fruitiness from the blueberries, a little bit of smoke, some of that green sichuan peppercorn. The base is light but that allows everything else to come through. This is surprisingly effective.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a crystal clear light yellow-gold color with a bright white head and great retention. Barely any lacing. Very light citrus and malt aroma. The taste follows the nose: Light, bright pale malt flavor with just a hint of citrus in the finish. Super smooth, clean, and refreshing. Light body. Medium carbonation. Not bitter. Great summer light beer.
