Can: Poured a slightly hazy blonde color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light dry wheat malt is OK. Taste is a mix of light dry wheat malt with light cereal undertone. Body is light with medium carbonation. Limited complexity with some slightly off-balance notes.

Can: Poured a clear light pink color ale with a medium foamy head with light retention and so lacing. Aroma of light berry and hibiscus with some light cereal notes is OK. Taste is a mix of light berry notes with some hibiscus and some berry notes with some cereal notes which kind of clash with the berries. Body is light with good carbonation. Not bad but not sure the balance between flavours is somewhat off.

En fut à la brasserie le 9 février 2017. De couleur ambrée très foncée, presque brune, avec une mousse beige très crémeuse et persistante. Au goût, il y a des figues, de l’anis et du raisin, avec un alcool chaleureux. Les fruits sont dominants. Bière très fruitée et sucrée. Peut-être trop. Il y manque aussi une effervescence plus active. Ou est la levure et l’effervescence typique de ces Belges monastiques?

En fût à la brasserie le 9 février 2017. Au nez, ça manque un peu de puissance mais on arrive à y percevoir un peu de grain. De couleur dorée et claire avec une petite mousse fuyante. Beaucoup de céréales en bouche. des céréales granuleuses avec de l’écorce. Très maltée. Les houblons sont peu agressifs. C’est peut-être ce que j’aime moins de cette pilsener.

En fut à la brasserie le 9 février. Traditionnel chocolat, café au nez. Torréfaction en évidence. Le visuel présente une mousse crémeuse qui se maintient de longues minutes sur un liquide noir. Au goût, c’est fortement chocolaté, chocolat au lait. La texture est un peu mince. Belle torréfaction. C’est légèrement plus sucré que la moyenne. Dans la moyenne des stouts.

En fût, à la brasserie, le 9 février 2017. Au nez c’est très agrume, beaucoup de pamplemousse, des fruits tropicaux, un peu de mangue. De couleur dorée, tirant sur l’ambré, avec une mousse persistante. En bouche c’est aussi agrume, avec une pointe de gazon se terminant en une amertume de résine. Assez traditionnelle comme IPA. Sympa.

A golden blonde ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with citrusy floral hops, orange pulp, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, light citrus pulp, light tropical fruits, nice and smooth. On tap at brewery.

A deep dark brown Bock with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, banana esters, light cloves and chalky notes, alcohol warmth, OK. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, dark fruits, plums, chalky character, light alcohol warmth, pleasant. On tap at brewery.

Dark brown. The aroma has some phenols to go with a light roast character. Light body, with a mellow fudgey element. Overall, though, it’s light and without much nuance. Disappointing.

Hazy and pale. No thin. Really yeasty on the nose. Light estery, hint of bubblegum, fairly yeasty. So on the palate, not all that great.
