On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy pale yellow white head. Aroma is very Belgian-esque, with lots of farmhouse yeast, some fuzzy citrus skins and even a little hops. Flavour reveals notes of farmhouse yeast, banana and clove, with a citrus hop finish. Decently balanced, just not really brewed to style. Not bad, but not great either.

Hazy amber color. Nice malt aroma, with a whiskey scent. Slick mouthfeel, some caramel, candy, correct bitterness, light fruity esters.
Ok Amber Ale.

Cloudy deep blond color. Aroma of vegetables and paper. Dry mouthfeel, flavor of paper, vegetables, light coriander, and the bitterness has chicory tones.
Not good.

On tap at the Bitter Tasting Room, pours a golden amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dry crisp hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is well-balanced between a lightly sweet biscuity malt and a floral hop quality. Standard pale ale - nothing special.

Beautiful mahogany color, clean, with creamy head. Caramel aroma with a hint of alcohol. Good body strength, with quite round mouthfeel; the flavor is mostly based on dark caramel, with plenty of esters, some banana, and roasted nuts in the final; strong bitterness, with a woody trace in the end.
Good and bold; too much esters for being a real Belgian, and too clean; it tastes like a Doppelbock and Quad crossover.

Brown body with a light brown head. Aroma is fairly chocolatey, with a little bit of fudgey character. Full body, roasty and rich chocolate character. Good hop bitterness is actually quite overt.

650mL bottle, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings all sort of dried dark fruits, dates, raisins, and figs. Flavour brings out loads of raisins, dates, caramel malt, and toffee. Really rich and authentic, with loads of raisins and other dark dried fruits. Excellent stuff.

650 ml bottle. Pours a yellow/amber with light head. Aromas of yeast, stoned fruit, light banana, and a little white pepper. Fruity flavors of green bananas, apricots. lemons, and toasted malts. Light bitter finish. Very nice. Refreshing.

Amber-copper colour, bubbly head, light caramel and modest hopping. Sweet character, a little bubblegum phenols - not expecting that yeast character in a straight up Bass-type. Def want to see a more English yeast character because that’s what the brassy, slightly caramelly, slightly biscuity malts and subtle earthy hopping calls for.

Hazy blonde and the big head fell fast, slight yeastiness. A little plasticy. Slightly floral. Lots of pale malts, but they’re quite sticky and don’t have a great character. A bit more hop would balance this out. Improves with a swirl of yeast - more body and a nice orangey note comes out.
