650 ml bottle. Pours a clear, dark mahogany with light head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of figs, burnt spice, brown sugar, and malt extract. Flavors of resin, raisins, burnt sugar and alcohol.

Dark amber...wow this is one the darkest IPAs I have seen. Aroma has a lot of lychee, with light amounts of orange zest, canned pears, spruce and maybe a dash of Special B. A fair bit of deep crystal chewiness, with a touch of earthy, resiny and slightly orangey hop. I’d call this is an imperial amber - nothing "pale" about this, but a good beer if you know what to expect.

Hazy amber, smells like a debacle - Mega bubblegum - not good stuff. Sticky, with some amber chewiness, light phenols. Gluey, chewy finish. Takes the worst of the Belgian yeast/hop components rather than the best.

Mahogany-brown, thin head, slightly spicy, with brown sugar, a fairly estery note w light bubblegum phenols. Sweetish front, almost Belgian-level phenols resulting from the candi sugar, some nice raisiny, fruitcakey notes that are more in the Anglo-American tradition. Maybe a bit thin for something that should be a big-bodied beer. Better for the pub, but not hefty enough for the fireside.

650 ml bottle. Pours a copper color with light head. Aromas of raisins, honey, resin, and dried malts. Flavors of nougat, butter, pears, resin, and burnt banana/spice. Dry and flat. Missing something - can’t say this is reflective of style.

Bottle from Gnashville. Hazy gold with a minimal head. Aroma is wheaty. Flavour has a bit of solvent, which is not pleasant. Fruity yeast, but dominated by the solvent background.
