On tap at VCBW Fest, pours a clear golden yellow with a small white head. Nose is quite lactic, with Belgian yeast and lactic tart quality. Flavour is much the same, with a lovely gentle lactic sourness that coats the palate. Really well-integrated tartness - much more complex than the original. Very good.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with full head. Aromas of overripe bananas, earth, and wet wheat. Flavors of same with a good dose of phenols and a pepper finish. OK for the style.

Draft - Some banana and bubblegum notes with lots of fruity yeasty notes. Clear gold with al out no head. Tons of sweet bubblegum and some light pepper and bitterness.

Bottle - Lots of roast and bit of booze with a touch of vanilla. Deep jet black with a rich light brown head. Light roast, light sweetness, some chocolate notes and a light bourbon finish. Nice and balanced and great for the low ABV.

650 ml bottle. Pours a a very dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of vanilla, whiskey/alcohol, oak, and roasted malts. Flavors of same though not as strong. Acrid finish and quite a light mouthfeel for an Outmeal Stout, but quite quaffable.

Light amber color, small head. Mild sour, lemony aroma. Dry and weak mouthfeel; the malt is very light, the lactobacillus leaves a bready trace, it’s moderately sour, and the bitterness is almost absent.
Ok beer if you need a sourish one, but it lacks of depth and complexity.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out oak barrels, wood, and moderate vinegary sourness. Flavour brings out medium vinegar, light sourness, and wood. Low complexity, but inoffensive. Not bad but not overly enjoyable.

Dull light amber. No real head on this one. Aroma is mostly plastic with vague apples and gluey malts. Grk. C’mon guys, you know this isn’t what tripel is supposed to smell like. Cloying, hints of pears and apples. Plastic. Gluey malts, and a giant whack of alcohol. To style, it just isn’t. As something to drink, it’s unbalanced. I can handle a boozy tripel, but this is woefully underhopped and doesn’t taste like it’s made with a Belgian yeast, either. Just way underattenuated.
