On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nose is pretty weak, with notes of wheat and cereal malts. Flavour is very bland, with stale biscuity malts, wheat, and almost an old banana character. Something is wrong here - tastes very stale. Not even very refreshing. A miss.

650 ml bottle. Pours a clear red/brown with little head. Aromas of tea, light toasted malts, and light resin. Flavors of toast, a bit of bitter marmalade, and a lot of bitter resin. Pass.

Bottle - Raisin, earthy and some sweetness. Cloudy copper think bu persistent head. Brown sugar, malty, bitter and a dark malt aftertaste. Not sure where the Belgian IPA comes from, this is nice but poorly described. A malty, bitter sweet strong ale is how it comes across, without a strong Belgian yeast presence.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hay golden with a small white head. Very aromatic with loads of Belgian yeast, a little crisp green apple, and some doughy malt. Flavour of Belgian yeast, candied sugar, booze and floral notes. Extremely flavourful and slightly better balanced and crafted than the Charleston Tripel. Finishes on notes of booze, candied sugar and apple. A little boozy but very drinkable nevertheless. Great stuff.

On tap. Pours amber with little head. Aromas of malts and citrus. Primarily just flavours of bitter hops. Quite unbalanced and not at all reminiscent of a Belgian Triple, ie no yeast or malts. A miss for me.

Well-balanced but on the lighter side of trippels. Has some coriander and clove. Pours blond clear with good lacing and head. Finishes with light sweetness. Some booze in aroma as well. Finishes a little astringent. Tap at St. Augustines.

Has some espresso and roast malt and slight hops. Pours syrupy black with no head or lacing. Some nice creak here. Pretty well done oat stout. Finishes bittersweet with balance. On tap at Alibi.

650 ml bottle. Pours black with full tan head. Aromas of black coffee, cream and dark chocolate. Flavors of light coffee, heavily roasted malts, and dark chocolate. Light but quite nice. And quite quaffable.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a deep dark amber/dark brown/near-black with a small tan head. Aroma of oats, chocolate malt, and a little candied sugar. Flavour brings out a great mix of oats, chocolate and roasted malt - all balanced together beautifully. Finished on a slightly astringent note of bitter roasted malt and oats. Medium bodied and packed full of flavour. Great stuff.

Hazy amber, little or no head.Nose of light citrus/light malt.Carmel fore,diacetyl hints, molasses & alcohol. Medium hop finish.Too sweet for style. This Is a Barleywine not an IPA (Belgian or otherwise). The second sub par beer I have had from this brewery.
