[ As De Kale Ridders Tumulus Nera ].Clear dark red brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, light to moderate yeasty. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140830]

Bottle. Pours dark brown-black with tan head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, roast, caramel, fruits and some alcohol. Flavor is sweet, roast, dark fruits, caramel and some smoke. Overall: very nice brew.

Opaque black, big tan creamy head, recedes slowly, good lacing. Aroma sweet malts, roasty, caramel, dark chocolate, moccha, liquorice. Taste medium sweet and bitter, coffee, dark chocolate, roasty. Full-bodied, creamy texture, spicy notes on the tongue, soft carbonation. Aftertaste mild bittersweet, earthy and spicy notes. Good creamy stout.
Hazy golden colour, big frothy white head, good retention, thick lacing. Aroma wheaty, lemon, apple, yeasty, grass. Taste moderate sweet, light bitter, wheaty and spicy notes. Medium body, creamy texture, light prickly mouthfeel, soft carbonation, finish light bitter, spicy and chalky notes.

Bottle. A dense, finger-thick white head forms over a more or less clear golden body. Some lacings. The aroma is quite sweetish and fruity, with some Belgian yeast notes. Cellar hints in the far back. Quite weak. The flavor has a decent sweetness, balanced well by the bitterness. Pine cones and resins, with a faint spiced touch. Fruity too. Medium to full body, rather dry, with a lasting fruity and bitter finish. Quite nice, but not very interesting anyway. 140830
