Ambar, oscura. Espuma blanquecina, poco abundante. Rico aroma, bizcocho, lúpulo. En boca es muy sabrosa. Excelente base malteada, y potente contrapunto lupulado, pino, uva. Gana el lupulo con amargor notable en el post-trago, aunque también se paladea el azucar... ummm. Muy interesante.

Bottle at tasting. Black pour. Aroma of sweet raisin, licorice, chocolate and red fruit. Taste has red fruit, riasin, booze, chocolate, licorice, creamy roast, boozy rum glue. Bit of a letdown, lacks the fruity vanilla flavor that rum often has.

0,341l bottle at home bought from Beer Republic. No obvious BB date. 6.6% ABV. copper / redish hazy color, medium big off-white head. smells of caramel, spices, peppery, some berry notes, some old hoppy notes. ok smell old hop notes are a bit disturbing. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, earthy, peppery, some caramel, tobacco, light exotic fruits, some berry notes. finishes medium earthy bitter with notes of tobacco, berry notes and some peppery notes. rather old hoppy, but somehow apart from the old hoppy notes still quite enjoyable to drink. i think its the nice carbonation and the combination of earthy hops. overall nice one.

Botella 33 cl en el kraken 07..10..2016 (r110). Sin lote ni Fcpref. color negro intenso con espuma beige Aromas y sabores maltosos algo tostados con abundante bourbon y sensación de licor. Sólo al final salen algo más de maltas tostadas cacaos y especias. Final amargo y seco Bastante duradero que la asemeja casi a una black Ipa. Cuerpo medio a intenso fino líquido con sensación de licor y bourbon. Original imperial porter

This beer is a dark copper color with a medium thick off-white head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of floral hops, malt and rye. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, fruit and spicy rye malt. The finish is floral and spicy with a rye and hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Tap at Erzbierschof Zurich. Pours clear golden. Aroma is citric, soapy, with hints of malt. Body is medium, rather sweet, with fruit, candy. Palate continues all that. Low carbonation. Okay.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is fruity, slightly estery, pale malts. Taste is fruity, peaches, estery, warming finish. Oily mouthfeel. Low carbonation for a Tripel, and rather balanced.

Part of their Brewmaster’s Selection 4-pack. Pours a real deep, clean amber, almost copper colour with a creamy beige head, nicely lasting a while and with thick foamy lacing. Mild aromas of smoke, roasted malts, caramel malts and light hops. The smokiness is milder in the taste with a little sweetness, but not syrupy. Burnt wood lingering smoothly. Well done here, as an easy introduction to many and the Rauchbier family.

Draft at Black Lab, RBESG 2016. Near clear golden with a white head. Aroma of grain, light malt and light hops. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied sweet and bitter. Light bodied with light carbonation. [08-07-2016]
