We have changed our name to better reflect our core business – brewing great craft beer. What we haven’t changed is our service, food and atmosphere. We still provide the Pints, Pies and Sports that you have come to know. So moving forward – Pint & Pie will be known as Northwest Brewing Co. Northwest has been brewing great craft beer since 2009.

Draft - Sweet caramel and orange hops. Clear gold with a decent white head. Sweet but harsh hoppy notes. Big lingering bitterness and pith and resinous flavours. To edgy.

On tap at Northwest, pours a hazy golden with a small beige head. Aroma is nearly non-existent, with light spicy hops. Flavour is the same, with abrasive spicy hops, light cosmetic notes and dry crackery malt backing. Very spicy and abrasive. Needs refinement.

Draft - Hoppy citrus and bit of resinous pine. Clear gold with a decent beige head. Resinous and pithy bitterness with a quick finish. OK.

On tap at Northwest, pours a hazy golden orange with a small beige head. Nose brings out gentle piney hops, some citrus and dry crackery malt. Flavour is quite bitter, with sharp spicy hops dominating, with a dry crackery malt backing. Decently balanced, though a tad abrasive. Okay.

Draft - Very light sweet fruit. Hazy dark gold with a small beige head. Mellow mango notes and not much else. Very subtle.

On tap at Northwest, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small head. Nose is subtle, with minor notes of mango and banana underneath. Flavour follows suit, with notes of mango upfront, followed by banana underneath. Not my thing at all, but at least it's inoffensive.

On tap at Northwest, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out orange peel and coriander upfront. Flavour is about the same, with oranges upfront, followed by clove. Not the most interesting beer, but it's brewed decently well. Okay.

Draft - Creamy wheat notes, little sweetness. Hazy gold with a decent white head. Wheat and nice sweet orange notes. Easy drinking, but a bit on the sweet side.

Draft - Lots of raw ginger and some spice. Clear gold with a thin beige head. Raw ginger, light sweetness and some spice. Not bad for a ginger beer.

On tap at Northwest, pours a clear bronze with a tiny head. Aroma brings out ginger upfront, not much else. Flavour is gingery upfront - like pure raw ginger with a touch of sweetness. Delivers on its promise. Decent.
