Can shared with the baboons in Kruger. A very light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with malt, corn, and cardboard. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal, malt, straw, and corn, leading to a dry metallic finish.

Can from Liverpool Street South African shop. I first had this aged nine in South Africa and many times since during other trips. So on a hot commute home I thought, "why not." No idea what it looks like and an aroma of malt from the can on opening. The taste was that of sweet and rich malts with no real hops in balance. My palate has obviously changed as I found it to be too sweet, but perhaps it needed to be colder. It had a good mouthfeel and it was drinkable. I am sure I will have more when I am there in October.
