BB 1991. Thank you Christian. Pours a muddy amber reddish. Nose is sweet and fruity. Dusty and mellow yet tart. Quite oxidized. Very woody and basically over the top. Sweet and sticky cherry and marzipan. Medium to watery palate. Wet dog, cork, dusty and cellar. The tartness is pretty much gone and im doubting whether its ever been there. Pleased to try this.

To Celebrate my 700th Belgium Beer. Bottle @ WSF. Vintage 1988. 75cl Bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small creamy white head. Tart, mouldy, woody, grapes and cellar. Very complex and still world class. Kind of mellow and smooth carbonation and mouthfeel. Vague vinegar tickles the cheek. Ends tart and dry. 21 years of age and still wonderful.

1988 bottle at the best beer festival in the world - weekend of spontaneous fermentation. Muddy orange with a small white head. Despite beeing rather oxidized, the aroma is really exciting. The fruity note reminds me of Northern Scandinavian cloudberries. Funk like leather, rotting wood (think old park bench) and earth or mud. Really dry and tart, funky and vineous fruity flavour, with a touch of vinegar.

1987 bottle, 22 years old. Nice citric aroma, hint of metal. Cloudy amber colour. Very small white head. The flavour starts off with a little farty malt and then turns citric. The citric note is late and slightly vinegary. Not mouthpuckering, and not entirely clean.

Draught at plan b. Cloudy dark red colour. Big stable creamy tan head. Fruity berry aroma. Very good acidity, sour but not vinegary. Sweet berry flavour, but very well balanced. Like good sour saftevand.

Hazy brown with a lasting head. Very fruity raspberry aroma. Dry and just slightly tart raspberry flavour. Not very sour or funky, but an incredible fruit flavour, and surprisingly fresh.

From tap at Plan B, 22 year old keg. Pours cloudy dark orange with a fully gone head. Wooden and dry raspberry aroma. Smooth, tart and nice raspberry fruity. Very elegant and easy flavoured. Light acidic touch and nice fruity base flavour. Shivering tartness. Lasting fruity raspberry impression. Sublime! Stunning!

Small sample from Plan/B , Copenhagen who had a single keg of this. Though the sample was very little I remember the taste and feel quite well. Extremely muddy orange with a small white head. Lots of wood with sour and fresh raspberries. Some caramel, fruit and a good deal of tartness and oak. Smooth and medium palate. Amazingly fresh and top notch considering this is probably 20 years old.

89’ Hazy orange with a medium off white head. Draft. Sour raspberries hits the nose along with wood, hay and candy drops. Flavour was quite tart with raspberries, lemons, barnyard, wood and leather. Finished deliciously tart. Very fresh raspberries despite the age. Absolutely amazing!
