Description
WAYFINDER BEER is a new brewery project in Portland, Oregon. We have transformed a 8,900 square feet of a century-old brick warehouse in Portland's Central Eastside into a classic destination for beer and food lovers.

Wayfinder is the brainchild of Charlie Devereux (co-founder of Double Mountain Brewery), Matthew Jacobson (co-founder/owner of Sizzle Pie, Quality Bar, and Relapse Records) and Rodney Muirhead (co-founder/owner of Podnah's Pit and La Taq). Our mission: to bring simple and authentic pleasures of the highest quality to the Rose City and beyond.

Guests to Wayfinder will find enjoyment in our 110-seat taphall, or outside on our massive patio. Our menu of handcrafted comfort food features deliciousness from a custom wood-fired grill. We're using our four-vessel, 10-barrel brewhouse to create world-class lagers and ales for onsite enjoyment and wholesale distribution.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is tropical. Pineapple seems in it. Med body at least. Earthy, pineapple, citrus, even a bit of weed. Dry. Bitter. Great stuff.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Translucent chestnut brown pour. Frothy tan head. Toasted malt aroma hints at cocoa and brown bread. Flavor is earthy and dry. Toasted malt, nutty and clean. Maybe a hint of figs or dates on backend. Tasty, nonetheless.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear dark brown with a huge foamy beige head that laced. Aroma is roasty in a tmavy way. Med body. Malty, roasty, but well towards dry and definitely bitter. An earthy note, yet very clean. Very, very tasty. Not sure about the hops, but floral seems in it.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear, bright gold with a foamy white head that did moderate lacing. Aroma of biscuit and a touch of diacetyl. Med body. Flavor of biscuit, noble hop and more diacetyl than I can enjoy. But with time the diacetyl tends to disappear due to taste fatigue, so pretty good then. Getting grass/spice but also some tangerine. Hmm? Took awhile, but I am getting into it.

Can from Ale Arsenal - part of a 6 pack bought by my Dad for our annual All-Star Game bet. Go American League! Aroma of chocolate, toffee and moderate roast. I got a bit of snickers bar....my wife go Jamocca Almond Fudge ice cream....and she is usually right. Pours black with small brown highlights. Dark, creamy tan head that lingers throughout, collecting in bunches around the edges and with a small cap over the top. Flavor is chocolate and caramel, with a moderate high roast on the finish. Slight ash. Sweetness and cold pressed coffee. Sweetness retains well after the taste. Slight cola flavor.
