Description
WAYFINDER BEER is a new brewery project in Portland, Oregon. We have transformed a 8,900 square feet of a century-old brick warehouse in Portland's Central Eastside into a classic destination for beer and food lovers.

Wayfinder is the brainchild of Charlie Devereux (co-founder of Double Mountain Brewery), Matthew Jacobson (co-founder/owner of Sizzle Pie, Quality Bar, and Relapse Records) and Rodney Muirhead (co-founder/owner of Podnah's Pit and La Taq). Our mission: to bring simple and authentic pleasures of the highest quality to the Rose City and beyond.

Guests to Wayfinder will find enjoyment in our 110-seat taphall, or outside on our massive patio. Our menu of handcrafted comfort food features deliciousness from a custom wood-fired grill. We're using our four-vessel, 10-barrel brewhouse to create world-class lagers and ales for onsite enjoyment and wholesale distribution.

Canned November 7th 2025 from Good Times Oakland.

It pours a clear straw gold with a finger of foam. Retention is very good, lacing is excellent.

The smell is noble hops, toasted malt adds some balance but the spicy hops dominate.

The taste is noble hops like German and Czech beers specialize in and that's impressive when brewers from the US accomplish that. Toasted malt backs up the hops and brings some balance but really, the hops are in control.

Medium bodied with lively carbonation, I would certainly drink this again.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Light gold pour. Large frothy white head. Fresh biscuity malt aroma hints at cut grass. Flavor is crisp and dry. Think Kronenbourg with a bit more body and less tangy. Some minerality as well. Light in body, yet full of flavor. Some Kellerbiers have a sweet side, but not this one. Clean, crisp and dry, from start to finish.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Amber orange pour. Large, frothy off-white head. Faint toasted malt aroma hints at allspice and mace. Flavor is bittersweet and malty. Notes of caramel and anise seed. Medium bodied. Peppery hops on backend. Maybe some cardamom as well. Different.

16 oz can. Aroma has notes of biscuity malt, grapefruit. Pours nearly clear golden with a half finger bone-white head with decent retention. Taste has a moderate to high pithy bitterness with very little sweetness. Kind of bland.

16oz can from Tavour. Clear golden body, thin, sturdy, tight white head. Big biscuity, grainy aroma right from the start. Taste is biscuity, crisp, with a fair amount of bitterness. Everything you'd expect in a lager, but amped up a bit.

Gold pour. Thin foam around the rim. Scattered lace. I love lemon so this beer is up my alley. All lemon flavor with a lemon Pledge palate. Light bodied and light carbonation

473mL can. Pours nearly black with a beige head. Dry toasted bread and woody smoke on the nose. Flavour has bread crusts, a gentle roast, subtle wood smoke, and crisp dry grass. I really liked the nose, the flavour was a bit tame, but it was very nice once it came to temperature a bit.
