Taster at Loyal Legion. What a lovely beer, gentle and full of flavor. Pours out an unassuming pale golden, but the aroma hints at the tastiness to follow. Mild maltiness, barest hint of hops, smooth and creamy. Truly a wonderful exampe of the style.

On tap at Bottleworks, pours black with a small beige head. Nose brings out vanilla, toasted malt and a little cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with light vanilla, some cocoa and toasted malt. Rich and wonderfully balanced - it's certainlt not too sweet. Excellent.

16 ounce can. Pours a dark mahogany color with a large beige head. Really amazing design. And more amazing, a salute to YOB! One of my favorite bands. A big malty nose, spicy, toffee. Sweet, toffee, toast, some cherry, light yeast. Very clean, great version of the style.
