Bottle at Kraken Bar, Vientiane. Was expecting more witbier but got some strange very sweet cloudy lager. A mess of sweet flavours.

Bottle at street food stand in Vientiane. Standard macro dark lager aroma. Altbier look. Sweet malty ending.

On tap and bottle in Vientiane. Aroma is mostly absent. Low carbonation. Incredibly easy to drink (which was put to test by locals at Kraken Bar) with a watery and slightly sweet taste. On first trying there was an unpleasant fizzy water aftertaste but didn't notice it otherwise. You can tell it has rice. (21/7/23) --- On bottle at various places but rated on board a mekong cruise in Luang Prabang. Milky aroma like Jämtlands, at other times got metallic aroma. Decent looking gold. A very plain beer that is so easy drinking and even rough it had some defects at some points in the trip, overall its an easy drinker. 2.7 to 2.6 (25/7/23).

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 15.12.2023 Aroma has grainy and starchy malt. Also some honeyish tones. Flavour has honeyish malt, some mellow grassy hops, hints of mint. Finishes starchy. Feels quite bulky at the end.

Average lager but was refreshing with spicy salad. By default they serve it with ice 🧊

330ml bottle. Sweetish and cardboardy bulk lager, quite generic and not very tasty.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, thanks VastActiv, at VastActiv, 20230518) The beer poured pale golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness and grass. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweet cardboard, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A typical tropical lager.
