Bottled@vPBF2012. Ruby red colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is fruity, floral, caramel and some mild leathery notes. Flavour is fruity, leathery, mild sweet malty notes. Leathery aftertaste with sweet malts.

Pours dark brown with a small foamy head. Aroma of caramely malts, some spices, hints of syrup, chocolate and earthy notes. Taste is sweetish with a lot of caramely malts, toffee, syrup, hints of chocolate and spices. Smooth, malty and sweetish finish with hints of caramel. Okay, quite well balanced Scotch ale.

Aroma has some cocoa and hints of toffee typical to English Ales. Flavour is dry with some cocoa and rather roasted malt. Palate is foamy and too high on CO2. Decent.

Bottled@vPBF2012. Very deep ruby red colour with a small brown head. Aroma is spices, some ripe fruits, ashes, chocolate and roasted malts. Flavour is roasted malts, ashes, some liquorice and mild bitterness in the finish. Big coffeeish and ashy notes in finish.

Dark, almost opaque ruby-black color, good cloudy brown head. Coffee and dry yeast in the nose. Light to medium bodied. Chocolate, cold coffee in the flavor. Short finish. Quite simple.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours very dark brown/black with a fizzy, but substantial, dark tan head that went down rapidly. Aroma is carbon dioxide and chocolate. Med minus body. Flavor is reminding me of a cookie of some sort. There’s a lot of dark chocolate and coffee. It’s lightly sweet in the finish, but the various bitters balance that out.

0.5l bottle from BrewDog Camden. A deep dark lightly cloudy ruby-brown body under a medium sized beige - quite creamy lasting head. Heavy laceworking! It's quite malty on the nose with fruits, sweet caramel, licorice and hint's of both chocolate and burned cake. Nice on the aroma. A nice almost creamy texture with a average to soft carbonation level. Definitely malty flavors, a bit nutty as well. Some roasted hints with dry dark caramel and some integrated alcohol in a quite nutty-bitter finish and aftertaste. Quite delicious. 29.07.2012

0.5l bottle from BrewDog Camden. A massive everlasting and thick lacing foamy tan head arises from the glass on top of a deep dark body. The aroma is roasty with coffee and chocolate. Also a bit bitter, wet rocks, some soy sauce and a hints of leather couch and gunpowder. The flavor has lots and lots of burned bitter malts! It's filled with soy sauce and Belgian bitter chocolate. It's low on the carbonation and extremely slick in the mouthfeel. Lasting bitter and not least burned aftertaste in this one. My, oh my. A lasting sipper with tons of flavor! 01.08.2012
