Tulip at the Thirsty Growler. Clear, medium amber, nicely frothy. Rich toasted bread, earthy & herbal stiff hops, light black pepper, itchy nose. Taste is heavy cereal upfront, sticky caramel & dry leaves with a lingering earthy & aspirin bitter bite. Lingering astringency, medium-high acid & an eventual dry mouth feel. Heavy dose of hops. Feels a bit bigger than the 5% list. Good.

On tap at Apex. Pours murky brown with an off-white head. Aroma is an incorporated malty caramelized fruit. Flavour has caramelized dark fruits, dates. Booziness is very well-integrated. Incredible barley wine.

Tap at Euljiro Brewing, Seoul, South Korea. Pours dark brown, almost black, with very fine light cream foam. Aroma is more chocolate than coffee. Body is dense, with almost no carbonation. Taste is quite roasty bitter. Final is sticky and smooth, fairly long.

XXI Rye Whiskey BA. Shared with Caesar and ShivanDragon @ Mancave Bunnik. Opaque dark brown to black color, average sized beige to light brown colored head. Aroma and flavor are malts, soft roasted malts, whiskey, decently bitter. A bit thin bodied due to age I think, but still good.
