Independent Since 1988. A pioneer in the Craft Beer movement, North Coast Brewing Company opened in 1988 as a local brewpub in the historic town of Fort Bragg, located on California’s Mendocino Coast.

Under the leadership of former President & Co-Founder Mark Ruedrich, the brewery has developed a strong reputation for quality, having won more than 110 awards in national and international competitions.

2014 bottle. Pours a clear deep amber with a brown hue and no head whatsoever. Aroma has sweet grains and brown sugar with a bit of toffee and a whiskey bite underlying. Flavor has a bit more of a whiskey burn with sweet grains, brown sugar, toffee and a hint of caramel backing.

12oz bottle pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice big barrel vanilla chocolate notes. Taste is more of the nice chocolate big booze whiskey barrel and some vanilla.

355 ml bottle, 2021 Vintage, label says 11.2 % alcohol. Clear amber golden colour with a thin off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, liqourice, nuts, red berries and fruits. Taste is sweet. Full bodied. Lasting sweet finish with lingering red fruits and dark malts. Light booze. Very enjoyable.

Draft pour at The Bier Baron in DC. Poured a clear, yellow-orange color. Aroma was bit tart fruity citrus. Quince, sour cranberries. Big tartness.

Flaska från SB. Ren och klar rubinröd/mahogny med hög smutsvit/beige krona. Klassiska och väldigt rena quad-toner med torkad frukt, bränt socker, estrar, maltsötma, jästkaraktär. Klassisk och gott om än kanske en aning för städat.
