750mL bottle. Pours a mostly cleae blonde with a white head. Brett, lemon peels, peppery saison yeast on the nose. Flavour has a nice Brett character, peppery yeast, lemon peels, some light malts. Maybe a bit on the rough side, but overall quite a good farmhouse ale.

On tap at Powell. Pours clear gold with an off-white head. Bitter pine, some sticky resins, and a tart berry-like character on the nose. Flavour is dominated by that bitter dry berry character, some crunchy pine needles and resin. Lingering chemical bitterness on the palate. I'm pretty sure this is fucked with diacetyl, but maybe it's just a bad hop expression. God dammit.

On tap at Powell. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Biscuits and dry grass on the nose. Flavour has a biscuit malt base and some dry, slightly peppery hop character. Not the sharpest Czech pils out there, but pretty solid and refreshing.

Good non-alcoholic IPA. Lots of hops, bright citrus, clean malts. The way Powell makes these, they feel like they have good balance, the right amount of residual sugar.

Part of a flight at The Drake Eatery in Victoria, Vancouver Island on 14th August 2025. Dark brown with a beige wisp and collar on top. Malty front with a subtle sweetness before some hop action kicks in. Not rich or slick, it's body depth more akin to a Dunkel or Alt. Pleasant enough though.
