473ml can. Pours a hazy orange yellow with a small, fizzy, short lived, white head that fully dissipates. Mild, sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, orange and passionfruit. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat malt, tangerine, passionfruit and floral hops in a dry, tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and lively to average carbonation. Juicy and refreshing.

Hazy, sort of a dullish orangey pale. No head, which is odd for a hefeweizen. Big, fairly artificial orange aroma. The flavour is also on the artificial side of things. The base is neutral yeast wheat, and not particularly enlightening. Just sort of there. Medium body. And the thing is, the fake orange doesn't blend with the beer. It's like two entirely different things fighting for space in my glass. Ineffective.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out big dank hops, gentle yuzu, and biscuity malt. Flavour is juicy and dank, with piney hops, yuzu, biscuity malt and some dankness. Damn, this is surprisingly great. Basically a big juicy, dank, piney, citrusy WCIPA.

On tap at Steamworks - Mount Pleasant, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is full of coconut upfront, with light pineapple and some lacto. Flavour is full of coconut upfront, with very subdued pineapple and light lacto. The coconut is nice and covers over the pretty lame kettle sour base. Pleasant enough coconut flavoured beer without any depth or complexity.

Bright pale gold colour with a thin head. Bright aroma, light yuzu and some earthy hops. Fairly bitter, not as much yuzu on the palate, more like bitter grapefruit and clean pale malt.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Golden colour, dull, light haze, medium head. Mild aroma of sweet malt and oranges. Good body, with balaned residual sweetness; a bit of a malt soup, with hay, bread and biscuits, quite strong, but at least it's not sticky, but let me wonder if there is any crystal here; the hop is resinous, a bit harsh and astringent, with bitter orange peel, and a touch of chamomile. Tiny buttery traces in this can.
It tastes like old IPA, and it's a rather old IPA concept, but it's drinkable.
