Cloudy and light tan. Bubbly head. Light rhubarb taste, some light wheat and yeast. Has a refreshing character. Ok.

On tap at Big Rock, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts, some licorice, and crusty bread. Flavour is along the same lines, with notes of licorice upfront, followed by crusty bread and toasted malt. Too much licorice for my taste. A potent dunkelweizen, but not to my liking.

On tap at Big Rock, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Nose brings out herbal hoppy notes and a dry biscuity malt. Flavour is kind of stale tasting, with metallic malt and herbal hops. Not a good balance of flavours - they need to tweak this. It just tastes stale.

On tap at Big Rock, pours a cloudy dark orangey brown with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry biscuity malts and some fresh herbal hops. Flavour is quite herbal and leafy, with a nice earthy quality to it. Fresh and well-balanced. Very solid stuff.

On tap at Big Rock, pours a hazy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is fresh but overly prominent, with doughy malt and some leafy hops. Flavour is quite juicy and leafy in the hop department, with a dry malt backbone in place. Clean and fresh, and quite drinkable, though not terribly exciting. Solid stuff.

On cask at Big Rock, pours a filthy reddish brown with no head. Nose combines a strange mix of mosaic hops and filthy smoky notes. Flavour is mostly smoke, with ash, fire pit and some burnt bready caramel malt. Flat and confused. Quite bad.

Draft - Lots of toasty notes with some sweetness. Deep dark brown with a decent light brown head. Nice toasty and dark malts. Sweet toffee notes. Tastes more like a shwartzbier.

Draft - Sweet grassy and floral notes. Cloudy brown with a small white head. Little herbal, bit of smoke and and manure and sweetness. The hops have sweetened this quite a bit. Interesting.

Draft - Pale malts and light sweetness. Clear dark gold with a decent white head. Pale malts and some light hop notes. Very thin and a bit boring.
