Description
10 Barrel Brewing was founded by three fellas in Bend, Oregon in 2006 who wanted to brew beer, drink beer and have a ton of fun while doing so. 10 years later and we're still following suit. Whether we're shredding the mountain, drinking cold ones by the fire after work or floating down the river. We always have fun with a beer in hand.

Hazy pink in a snifter. Modest white fleeting head. Lots do tart raspberry right up front. Dry and tart flavor. Tap list says it has some hibiscus in it. Also days it is a good introduction to the "sour world". True. It is tart but palatable. Lingering teeth squeeking feel.

On tap at the Boise pub. Hazy redish amber with a small white head. Malty and mild. Malty and fairly bitter. Not quite IPA levels. Balanced and a bit woody notes also. Fairly soft and full palate. Pretty good. My first draft at the new Boise site.

Bomber thanks to Mike. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A great fruity and rye nose. The flavor is big sweetness, spicy rye and hops, oranges, lemon zest. Very good. Super drinkable.

Nice very dark brown coloured body with a rich, three centimetre tall tan head - very opaque for the style, even when held to a light. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt and huge helpings of passionfruit and pineapple - very nice and complex with some dark caramels and light tropical notes! Medium-bodied; Rich roasty malt flavours with a lot of caramel and toffee and a super pungent pineapple and resinous hop note right afterward. Aftertaste shows a great balance of roasted malt and very pungent tropical and resinous hop flavours and a smooth sweet finish with hints of bitterness from the hops and mainly from the roasted malt. Overall, one of the better Black IPAs i’ve ever had - a great blend of roasted malt and deep characteristics with fruity and tropical hop flavours - worked very well and I wish I could get more of this...i’m not sure why this has such a low rating! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Pearl Specialty Market in Portland, Oregon on 26-April-2013 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 01-July-2013.

On tap Boise location. Pours out a clear crisp live golden topped with a ring of a head. Aroma is awsome watermelon jolly rancher, light cucumber, sweetness and some of the Berliner base. Taste is great more of the jolly rancher, cucumber, lemon, and not over the top sour. The sour is not q pucker just a nice mellow.

22oz Bottle Pours out a little hazy straw topped with a white fizzy ring of a head. Aroma of sweetness, citrus, and some grain. Taste is more of the sweetness, lots of citrus notes, no bitterness, smoothing swillin brew for sure.

Sample at the Memorial Day Deck Beers tasting on 05/27/2013: The beer is a hazy amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates slowly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, rye and roast malt. The finish is hoppy with a spicy aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle, from Newport Avenue Market, split on train 500 between Portland and Seattle, 27/05/13. Hazed golden with a good sized white head. Nose is lemonade, pale malts, grass, sugars. Taste comprises grass, citrus, lemonade, sugars, barley. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Too much alcohol for a radler so fails on this front as the finish is not as clean and refreshing as a version would be at half the ABV.
