Description
10 Barrel Brewing was founded by three fellas in Bend, Oregon in 2006 who wanted to brew beer, drink beer and have a ton of fun while doing so. 10 years later and we're still following suit. Whether we're shredding the mountain, drinking cold ones by the fire after work or floating down the river. We always have fun with a beer in hand.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. It’s very live beer. Pours a 5+ finger foamy white head. There’s a bit of lemony gold underneath that. Aroma is sort of earthy sour lemon. Med body. Flavor is lemonade sourish. There’s a lot of grapefruit (not the rind) and enough sugar to be silly. Sort of a cross between a Berliner Weiss and a grapefruit radler. Fun and easy to drink it is. These brewers are having more fun than should be allowed!

Great hazy bronze and copper coloured body with a thinnish, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of wheat, alcohol, fresh hops, yeast, bananas, cloves, coriander seed and some more fresh hops - very nice. Medium-bodied; Dense wheat flavour up front with a ton of nice spicey characteristics coupled with a good sweetness, all showing a great fresh hop flavour with some rather pungent citrus and herbal hop notes. Aftertaste shows a great balance of the hop varieties with the yeast - they match perfectly and show the great sides of each. Overall, a very nice IPA with a great wheat characteristic set and some fresh hops. Definitely worth trying if you can find this, plus it’ll be one that I search out for the next time back in Portland! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Pearl Specialty Market in Portland, Oregon on 26-April-2013 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 09-August-2013.

Not too far removed from a dunkel/tmavy, pours almost black (very dark brown), thin beige head, roast/smoky aroma, some oak barrel/wood notes. Taste is also mostly roast grains, for an IPA, hops are in the background, almost an afterthought. Good dark beer, but tough to classify.

Froma bottle, slightly hazy faded yellow. Full and dense creamy white head. Fresh fruity hops, tangerine, mango hops and light malts. Refreshingly crisp and lightly bitter. More of a piney hop flavor and a thin wet palate. late lingering fairly harsh bite. Interesting style mongrel.

On tap at the Boise pub. Served in a snifter, hazy orange with a thing white ring. Big piney and aroma and of oranges. Flavor is big fruity citrus and a little pine. Remarkably lite bitterness for the amount of hops that must have been necessary for this hoppy flavor. Finish is actually a bit flat without that IBU bite at the end. Soft palate and generally pleasant overall. That said, an easy IPA to try for aspiring hopheads.

On tap at the Boise pub Hazy mahogany with a small tan head that leaves heavy lacing behind. Rich sweet woody aroma of brown sugar and maple. Woody and bitter flavor with lots of sweet malty goodness. Plenty of bitterness at the end. Big flavored and a rich smooth palate.

Bomber. Pours a cloudy orange color with a medium white head. A funky and fruity nose. Interesting. Zesty sprite flavors, grapefruit. Sweet, light grains. Pineapples. I wonder what exactly is in this. Quaffable and interesting. Has some malt liquor sort of graininess.

Bottle: Smells a lot like apple juice with a little citrus and tropical fruit. Kinda looks the part too, but not as dark. Big ole white head after an agressive pour. Lively carbonated and tongue tingling. Really fresh fruity taste is spot on; citrus, grapefruit, a little sweet/trart crispness come together. This stuff is the balls. I would drink this all the time. Having received this (and more) via Boise really makes me miss home...

On tap at the Boise pub. Clear golden orangeish with a thin white head. Heavy persistent laciing. Bright piney aroma and more of a citrus flavor. Very nice up front hop flavor while maintaining a modest ABV level. My kind of pale ale. Dry quick finish. Very tasty.
