Black colour, small head. Aroma is toffee, liquorice and chocolate with some alcohol tones to it. Flavour is liquorice, dried fruits, some plum, chocolate and some alcohol sweetness to it. Has aged very well. A bit rum/sherrylike sweetness. Not that much bourbon nor vanilla from the wood.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A steady fawn-coloured head over a near black body, spotty lacing. Nicely roasted aromas with dark chocolate malts and a note of bread. Well balanced malty taste, including cocoa-chocolate, caramel, and a note of dark fruits. Lingering dark malty end, smoothly roasted with warming bourbon. Mouthfilling. Good drinking. (Tromsø, 20.10.2025).
