O’Hara’s Brewery is a family-owned business established in 1996 and one of the pioneers of Irish craft brewing. A bit cloudy orange. Malty, tropical fruits, peach rings, light citrus, some background pine. Medium bodied. Finish has sharp carbonation and a bit of bitterness. Too malt forward, IMO.

This bottle was disappointing, infected or too late, not drinkable, heavy taste, not aromatic, not fruity and subtle with the rye, few hop, 13.03.19.

Brownish black with a medium tan head. Aroma of warm wood fruit. Flavour of warm whiskey wood, dry port, ruby grape, warm wood finish. Strong fruity base.

[This beer is tagged as a ‘Michael Rudolph 100’ on ratebeer.com] A bottle purchased online from Beers of Europe and drunk at Dad’s while home on holiday. Aroma: malt, with some dark chocolate. Appearance: opaque cola, 2-3mm. tan scum. Palate: light-bodied and slick, average carbonation; good dry aftertaste. Taste: medium bitter, well malted, flavour tends towards coffee. Quite satisfying.

Color negro con reflejos castaño, opaca, preciosa corona de espuma muy cremosa y densa, de excelente retención y gran residuo. Aroma con un buen fondo de café y lúpulo, notas de levadura y resina...es una aroma que empieza bastante discreto, pero que mejora bastante con el atemperado. En boca trago rico y sedoso, notas tostadas, café, chocolate y un desfile de lúpulo que deja un más que rico ramalazo resinoso en el paladar. Muy buena cerveza!

Color ámbar rojizo, espuma extremadamente cremosa, de excelente retención y residuo. Aroma discreto a malta tostada y caramelo. La textura en boca combina cierta acuosidad con la magnifica cremosidad de la espuma, resultando en un conjunto agradable y sedoso, de sabor entra moderadamente acaramelada y acaba amarga terrosa, con notas de frutos secos y hojas secas. Sin duda una experiencia deliciosa está irish red nitro, para repetir y repetir.

A fair stout, generous notes of roasted malt, dry coffee, mineral, dry hop at the final. Good relation price and quality with a beautiful black color, a stout light and aromatic, also pleasant during hot weather.

Bottle 3339, edition 8, sharing it with my wife and it was a rather bad experience, too sour, acidic, rough at the palate, carbonated, side of cherry, woody, soily, probably infected, we didn't finish the bottle, not an imperial stout.

If I am not wrong, I have bought this bottle at the ex grain d'orges, Crissier. Sharing this bottle with my wife, yesterday, at home. It was perfect during a rainy night. An average imperial stout, a bit rough at the beginning, roasted malt, mineral, 04.11.22, at Epalinges.

Bottle: Poured a straw yellow with an off white head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, tropical fruits, citrus. Taste is light bitter, fruity, tropical, melon rinds, citrus, malt balance.
