Drinking this bottle, two days ago, at Epalinges, after a long day at the swimming pool. Rich stout, one of the best beer of this brewery that I have tried, roasted malt, coffee, side of liquorice rather discreer, chocolate and touch of hop at the final, 13.08.20, purchased at Amstein.

500ml bottle from a Mercato, Serralunga d'Alba, Piedmont, Italy. Cracked at home after driving 12 hours back from Italy. Pours a clear pale gold. Peculiar taste and no mistake.. strange syrupy cheap knock-off lambrini wine spritz profile.. indistinct alcohol spirit notes.. very dry finish.. Tastes nothing like cider at all, slightly poisonous air.

0.33l bottle. Clear golden body with an off-white head. Biscuity malts in the aroma with orange zest, floral hops, grass and grapes. Taste of biscuity malts, sugar syrup, orange zest and pears with some grassy and floral hops. It has a nice bitterness in the finish but nothing too crazy. Nice IPA.

From Amstein, St-Légier, drinking this can after a trip at Arosa, in family, two days ago, beautiful landscape, beautiful body when you open the can mixing the gas, the orange, brown, white color, after it is not sensational at the mouth, classica Irish, 01.08.23, tasting it at Sharans.

Deep brown to black with a tall tan head. Nice roasted malts, chocolate, a hint of molasses, slight earth, a touch of vanilla. Medium bodied. Finish has roasted malts and a slightly sweet vanilla backdrop. This is an easy going yet full flavored Irish stout. Highly enjoyable.

Orange with a white head. Malty with some grapes and fruit notes. It feels a bit mushy and flabby. Not a ton of unique hop notes. It’s fine.

Can from Drinkmonger (2024) and Lupe Pintos (2026). Black body with ruby highlights and a thick beige head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of charred wood, cocoa, dark chocolate and biscuit. Flavour of chocolate and vanilla with a bitter finish. Medium to full body with creamy mouthfeel. Gentle fizz. This is very tasty. I’d like to try a blind side-by-side tasting with Guinness as I think this would come out on top.
