(bottle) Poured hazy golden with good white head. Nice aroma with fruity hops and some sweet malt hints. Light body with plentiful fine carbonation. Flavour has a tangy and sweet malty start with prominent fruity and floral flavours from the hops with a pleasant bitter finish. Overall a very nice beer.

From a 330ml bottle on 12/6/2011. Pours a slightly golden colour with a small head. The aroma is primarily fruity, with mandarin and passionfruit. Mandarin is also prominent in the flavour, along with some sweet caramel and some tart grapefruit notes. Actually quite bitter for a pale ale. A good beer.

From a 330ml bottle on 10/6/2011. Pours almost amber with a medium head. Doesn’t have much of an aroma, just a touch of toffee malt and some spices. The flavour is more interesting and a little unusual. There’s some sweet fruit at the start, particularly raisins with some tart citrus as well. Finishes with a good dose of hop bitterness. Worth a try.

From a 330ml bottle on 13/11/2010. Label says 6% rather than 6.5%. Pours a clody amber/tan. Has an almost Begian ale aroma to it - a bit of malt, fruit (apples), yeast, toffee and grassiness. This is pretty intense experience in the mouth. It tastes every bit of its 6%, with the sweet malt fruit sweetness joined by an exceptionally long sour bitter kick, which has more than a touch of lemon to it. Not sure if I love it, but it’s definitely interesting, different, and has a commendable amount of character.
