Had at the Greenville Humperdinks location in Dallas. Listed as Chile beer on their website under seasonals. Clear yellow body with a fizzy white head that leaves a ring of lacing around the glass. Chili aroma and Chili taste, but not too much burn. Kind of buttery (DMS) taste. A lot like Keystone with Chili in it. Not my thing, but no where near as spicey as Cave Creek. Watery mouthfeel.

I believe from the University Ram, but I could be mistaken. Bright amber with a nice head. Spicy, slightly tobaccoey hop aroma. Light sweet vanilla accents. Sweet palate, with nice vanilla notes and a hint of caramel. Firm alcoholic signature and just enough bitterness to be noticed. One of the best of the fest.

Tap at Meridian Ram: Pours a dark amber with a smaller beige head. Bits of lacing. Nose of earthiness, roasty malt tones, and light hints of citrus. Flavor is malty up front with hints of citrus before some floral bitters. Finished a bit dry. Kind of stuck between a hoppy amber and a malty pale ale. Hmmmmm... lost indeeed.

Draft: Pours a transparent dark amber color with a smaller head. Nice lacing. Nose is faint of malty sweetness with light hops. Tastes malty and lageresque without a strong or definitive character. Looks great (no kidding, like a "5"), but smells and tastes pretty weak and watery.

Draft @ Meridian Ram: Pours a cloudy orange with a large beige head and thick lacing. Nose of citrus and piney hops, some sweetness. Tastes rich with the citrus hops, florals, and a nice bit of maltiness. Good, solid IPA.
