Draft: Pours a cloudy reddish orange with a moderate white head and good lacing. Nose is light of malt, citrus, and floral tones. The taste is malty sweetness up front, with citrus and floral hops in the tail. Nice, lingering hops bitters in the trailer. Not bad, but Jordan is right on by only having one pint.

On draft @ Ram. Served up way too cold in an 18oz tumbler. This big red IPA doesn’t really look all that red. It’s kind of a light copper with abundant tan head. The aroma is light but has a nice grapefruit hop punch with much lesser amounts of malt. The flavor has a tasty grapefruit hop bitterness with hints of a floral hop quality. Near midway a sweet pale to lightly roasted maltiness comes out. Not long after the maltiness succumbs to the somewhat bitter grapefruit hop finish. Nice IPA.

Draft: Pours a clear golden color with a large white head and good lacing. Nose is floral and earthy, taste is similar with a moderate floral hops presence and hints of citrus sweetness. More hoppy than I expected for this style. It struck me as pretty pedestrian.

Sampled Draft: Pours a golden straw with a smaller white head. Mild nose of malt, taste is also a lighter version with malt, wheat, and barley a hint of hops. Good for the light beer drinker... perhaps.

Draft: Dark brown pour with a medium tan head. Nice thick lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee. More coffee than the rest. Taste is more of the same... coffee, roasted malt, and cocoa. Hint of bitters in the tail. No suprises here, but better than the run of the mill porter.

From one of the Seattle area Rams, at Hard Liver (I’ll try to find out which one). Chewy malts and bubblegum phenols on the nose. Colour is fairly light bronze...much lighter than usual for the style. Profile is kind of standard - moderate everything for the most part but with a pleasant alcoholic signature.

Cloudy amber color. Very nice aroma of fruity hops, oranges and other citrus fruits, a touch of tropical fruits. Good lean body, with a semi-dry mouthfeel, good malt and toffee flavor, and immediate hopping, more resiny than fruity, but still with a lemony edge; long final.
Fresh, hop forward and very pleasant.

Light amber color; thin head, nice lace. Fruity hop aroma, resiny. Medium body structure, heavy hopping (with some resins, aggressive enough) but not enough malty. Good.

The color is dark, almost black, with creamy beige head. Strong coffeish aroma. The mouthfeel is soft, with also some good dark chocolate and just a normal amount of roasted malts and fresh coffee. Correct bitterness.
Very pleasant Porter, fresh.
