Amber ale with plenty of hopiness. A pleasant citrus afermath (grapefruit, I decided) from the hops. Very drinkable.

On Tap at The Ram. Actually from a growler filled earlier that evening. Deep Black with extremely presistant dark tan head. Coarse almost permamnent lacing Aromas of cocoa vanilla a little whiskeytoosie rolls Flavor, is smokey, charred and of cohocolate, vanilla, and I dont find as much whiskey falvors though it is def there. Soft carbonation, smooth soft feel and the alcohol comes through a bit. Subtle lingering burnt flavor. Very tasty and drinkable

On Tap at The Ram / Boise Clearwater was I thought for a minute what they served me, not just he name of the beer. Llighter in color than their "light" beer I thought. Very faint light malty aroma and a nice light and refreshing flavor. Slightly wheaty and a bit sweet. Thin quick soft and easy carbonation. Tasty.

On Tap at The Ram / Boise Black, with a light brown head. Not much lacing. Lots of deep dark smokiness in the aroma and flavor. Some fruity sweetness, I didnβt think the Nitrogen was that obvoius, in fact was a littl e dissapointeed by the lack of that characteristic creamy smooth feel. Softly carbonated (nitrogen-ated) and a nnice bitter smokey trailer.

On Tap at The Ram / Boise Medium/light brown, not much different from thier Amber. Nice off-white head and spotty lacing. A light slightly sweet woody flavor very easy on the hops, soft carbonations and a sllightly sour note as well. Completely lacking any late bitterness. Not bad

On Tap at The ram / Boise Clear deep amber with a small off-white head and a few wisps of lacing. Woody malty aroma and similar flavors. Fairly sweet and slightly bitter but not from hops. More of a woody grassy note and moderate carbonation.

On Tap at The ram / Boise Clear medium redish amber with a modest sized off-white head. Nice lacing and the sharp citrusy aroma exptected. Flavor was mostly the hops and I thought lacked the full malt body to accompany it. Carbonation was a bit soft.

On Tap at The Ram / Boise A cloudy pale light yellow with excellent white head and very nice lacing that was still on the glass when it was finished. Aroma and flavor was of the German hef with the clove/banana spiciness. Fairly soft carbonation and a soft unfiltered feel. Not bad

Original review text: On tap at the Boise location. Clear deep light golden with a thick dense white head. Sry pleasant light pale malts. Some pils notes and light on the hops side..again a bit reminiscent of pale lager. Creamy smooth light body. Quite nice actually
