draft at the Fishers, IN brewpub - Pours clear gold with a small white head and a mild malt aroma. It has a sweet malt flavor and some alcohol presence. The finish of this light to medium bodied brew is also fairly sweet with very minimal hops if any noticeable. It’s simplistic and not very satisfying, my least favorite of the bunch.

draft at the Fishers, IN brewpub - Is it the same Kolsch? I don’t know. The list in the brewpub just said "Kolsch". It pours clear yellow with minimal head and a very mild, malty aroma. The flavor is sweet, grainy malt with mild hops that’s well balanced and flavorful. It’s light bodied and works well in the warmer months.

draft at the Fishers, IN brewpub - Pours clear copper with a citrus and pine hop aroma. It tastes of caramel malt, lots of caramel malt, and a moderately hopped flavor that leads into a strongly bitter finish. It’s medium bodied and overall a pretty solid brew.

draft at the Fishers, IN brewpub - Pours yellow with a thin, white, fading head. It has a really mild malt aroma. The flavor is sweet bready malt with a light fruity touch and some mild hops in the finish. It’s light bodied and not bad for what it is.

Draft at brewpub sometime in July... Poured a dark brown with a finger of creamy brown head. Decent lacing. Nose of roast and coffee, a light amount of cocoa. Roast is less intense in the flavor with more of a mocha feel. Some dry elements, but more of a sweet stout. Light bitters. Still, a stout.

Tap at Meridian Ram under the name Nutcracker Porter: Pours a deep brown with a smaller beige head. Light bits of lacing. Aroma is very rich and flavorful with hazelnut and mocha/latte tones. Really, the aroma is quite fantastic. Tastes roasty with light coffee and mocha notes, hazelnut, and some lingering bitters. After it warmed a bit, the hazelnut seems a bit forced rather than a natural compliment to the brew. Looses a bit here overall. Still, a neat offering and a reminder that hazelnut is very tasty.
