Nice heady cocoa smell laced with alcohol. Black in color, with slight brown highlights under a thin tan foam ring. Taste like a milk chocolate "ChunkY" bar. Then a rich, dark malt taste, low on roastiness. Plenty of sweetness hanging around this beer, with less alcohol than in the nose. Nice clean finish.

On tap at the Ram, Boise. Black pour with a coarse mocha dark tan head. Dark roast and sweet vanilla and chocolate in the aromas and flavors. Even though it’s very dark, it is easy drinking. A bit sweet and a decent final gravity making it smooth. Lots of chocolate and tootsie roll. Under bittered perhaps but very pleasant.
